In magazine articles or client newsletters, in fiction or science writing, my strength is in finding, shaping, and sharing the story in a way that engages the intended audience. Recent editorial assignments include a photo essay on the battered beauty and secret markings of container ships. The piece was Hakai Magazine’s most viewed article of the year and widely syndicated. My article on Meow Wolf illuminated how a dumpster-diving arts collective morphed into a multi-million dollar company. I’m also the author of a guide to moving to Costa Rica, now in its 5^th edition.
