As a non-scientist who spent a nearly decade writing for a science museum and many years freelancing for science education organizations, I’ve maintained “beginner’s mind” even as I learn more and more hard science content. I’m also fairly techie for a non-tech person. I’ve built my own websites, helped create complex metadata schema for an online library of science activities, and I have in-depth knowledge of website content management systems (Drupal, WordPress) and online newsletter applications.
