I write about many things, including travel, and am the author of Living Abroad in Costa Rica. I’ve won awards for my fiction and nonfiction, have worked as an editor and staff writer, and have taught writing in high schools, universities, and at the San Francisco Women’s Jail. I’ve been interviewed on CNN and local TV about moving abroad and Costa Rica, and on many radio shows, including Rick Steves’. I also write science curriculum and work as a copywriter, mostly for nonprofits with an emphasis on science education.  Email me for more information, or check out my LinkedIn profile .
